The Yorkton Cardinals picked up their first win of the 2011 WMBL season on Saturday night in Weyburn.

N.D Gonzalez has led the Cardinals with a pair of shutout victories this season, as the Redbirds look to dig out of an early season slump.

The Yorkton Cardinals open the 2011 Western Major League Baseball season tonight at Jubilee Park. The Regina Red Sox are in town for a 7:05 first pitch.
